Strut Salon & Suites
Amidst a relocation from a small shop in Eliot to the vibrant Fair-Haired Dumbbell at the foot of the Burnside Bridge, Portland premiere salon Strut Salon needed a facelift. In addition to a relocation was an expansion featuring a suite of services outside of haircare – including skincare, lashes, and injections. Together with the owner, we defined the new look of her salon and how she wanted to show up for fresh clientele, bringing the ‘premiere’ aspect of the salon’s reputation to the forefront.

The logo needed to be simple but elegant, moving away from a delicate feminine script to a a sophisticated and empowering sans serif.

The custom site design utilizes beautiful existing photography to show off the salon’s best work – displaying the most important information for the client up front.
Each service has its own page to introduce available stylists, containing self-written bios, contact info, booking, and portfolios. Each page is an effortless one-stop for the client to decide and book.
